Summer vacation started 2 weeks ago! It is fun having all three of them home during the day, but also a trial of my patience. Stevie is so happy to have his brother home to play. As I type this, there is a raging game of football being played in the playroom. I'm not sure what the rules are other than you must make a HUGE thud when you land on the ground!
We have been filling the summer mornings going to the YMCA. The kiddos love the spray park, but really don't like going to the child watch for the hour that I take my classes. They would prefer I just take them with me everywhere I go! I have enjoyed having that hour to myself. It has given me the peace and quiet I need to perform my duties for the rest of the day.
We have some fun things planned for this summer. We are trying to do weekly play dates to fun locations around town. We are enjoying watching Robbie play his first year of baseball! There is a week of bible school coming up in June that I will teach and the kids will go to. We are going to Colorado again this summer to cool off. Finally, we celebrate Robbie's and Non's 7th and 87th birthdays near the end of July. Throw in a cousin's baby being born and a couple weddings, and we have a fully packed summer of fun!
